Week 6 - 5/17/2026

Spent the last several weeks mostly on setup and planning — websites, recording workflow, learning new tools (Claude Code, OpenWhispr, OBS Studio, CapCut), getting better at scheduling and time blocking, figuring out what each of these projects even wants to look like. Some of that work is fairly described as procrastination. Some of it is genuinely centering my focus. I don’t always know which is which while I’m doing it.

The projects themselves are still very much early-prototype. Temerity Holdings has a functional first-pass research and recommendation flow for prediction markets, a coding agent orchestration system in Obsidian, a risk management philosophy, and a roadmap for testing and scaling trading strategies in equities and prediction markets, and three YouTube videos. I duplicated my Obsidian-based agent orchestration system to my other projects. Systematic Poker has scripts and tools to review hand history and three YouTube videos. Sand Flea Media has a couple pieces of content drafted but no public-facing site flow yet. Plan is to keep building, keep pivoting, and put more in front of an audience as I go.

Big accomplishments from the past week:

  1. I filed the LLC. Necessary thing to get out of the way. Now I am legit.
  2. Decided that Temerity Holdings is the primary focus. Systematic Poker and Sand Flea Media drop to one weekly slot each and are explicitly hobby projects for now. Polymath Career remains the umbrella.
  3. I shipped a couple of small trading-related prototypes this week on tight time caps. A Claude-driven prediction-market screener and a two-hour macro portfolio rebalance helper. Building momentum one step at a time.

I also drafted a formal plan for the balance of Q2. Up to now I had been planning pretty informally — Obsidian project docs, weekly notes, an ever evolving strategic vision for each project that gave me a vague sense of where things were going — but with no explicit goals or KPIs. The Q2 plan is my first attempt at a bigger structure. This was an extremely easy process with Claudian and OpenWhispr: a verbal conversation that resulted in a list of priorities fully filled out Google Calendar and project priorities ranked, weekly milestones, slip rules for when things go sideways. We’ll find out next quarter whether the planning was useful or whether I just enjoyed making it.
